Ruby Tuesdays, an indie rock band from Wollongong NSW, have this week been involved in extensive media debate surrounding the use of their Rolling Stones-inspired band name, ‘Ruby Tuesdays’ opposing multinational restaurant chain, Ruby Tuesday, who own some 540 “American cuisine”restaurants with total assets worth $929 million.
The band formed late last year and, since that time, have been working hard to make waves in the competitive modern music industry, show casing their unique hard-hitting sound and resulting in dynamic and explosive sold out live shows.
Since the band’s initial presence on The Project it has been interviewed on media channels including television presences on 9 News and ABC National News, and features in the Sydney Morning Herald and Vice Magazine.
Promoting their latest single “Wooden Moon” Ruby Tuesday are biting back ready to fight the power and rock your socks off. Come out and support the cause.
